Here are the steps:
1. Back up all work in Pentana MK that is currently downloaded on the users machine. This is critical as any work still downloaded on the local store will be lost.
2. Go to Help > Customer Support > Open local data store folder.
3. Once the File Explorer window has opened, close Pentana MK.
4. In the File Explorer window, you will see the contents of the "12.0" folder. Move up a level in the folder structure so that you are within the "LIVE" or "TRAINING" folder (depending on which database you are resetting the local store for) and can see the "12.0" folder within it.
5. Rename the "12.0" folder to "12.0_old".
6. Launch Pentana MK again. It will now create a new local data folder, which may take a couple of minutes.
